On Sunday 5 October 2025 at 4:00 pm WAT, the Climate Change Advocacy, Mitigation and Adaptation community will host its first online gathering — a two-hour session designed to turn informal sharing into practical collaboration.

Over the past year more than 270 members from across Africa and the diaspora have been exchanging news, training links and project ideas in the WhatsApp group. This summit creates a space to see each other, hear each other and showcase concrete solutions.

The programme is simple: brief five-minute presentations from members and invited guests on their ideas, pilots or projects, followed by open discussion and networking. The goal is to surface workable approaches to sustainability challenges and connect people who can support or replicate them.

Participants will leave with fresh contacts, tested concepts and potential partners for climate and sustainable-development work — moving beyond chat threads into real-world impact.
